How do the authenticated and non-authenticated submission systems differ?
The authenticated submission system authenticates a user based on their UNI information. Authenticated users access and submit data directly to the database whereas non-authenticated users submit data that needs to be manually entered into the database. The major benefit to the user of the authenticated system is that they will be able to edit any program, project or event that is associated with a UNI. Also, any new submissions will be associated with that UNI and thus availble for editing at a later date. The non-authenticated system can be used to submit but not edit data as this system is not directly tied into the database.

How long will it take for my submission to appear in the directory?
Program and project submissions can take anywhere from one to five days to show up in the directory. Each submission must be copyedited and approved by a member of the DKV staff before it can be published. Event submissions should show up on the site in one to two days. Please email help@globalhealth.columbia.edu with any questions that you have regarding data appearing or not appearing in the directory.
