Mailman School of Public Health
The International Center for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs (ICAP) brings together diverse initiatives aimed at addressing the HIV epidemic. Within ICAP, the MTCT-Plus Initiative, the Multicountry Columbia Antiretroviral Program (MCAP), the University Technical Assistance Program, and the HIV Care and Treatment Program in the Dominican Republic each focus on HIV service delivery, training, and education in resource-limited settings. Clinical care and support services are provided through ICAP at multiple facilities in Africa, Asia, and Central America.
Mailman School faculty and staff provide support in program development, clinical quality improvement, management systems, training, monitoring and evaluation, and research endeavors. Based at the Mailman School of Public Health, the Center draws upon the Mailman School’s broader resources, as well as those of Columbia University, to fulfill its mission.
The HIV Care and Treatment Program in the Dominican Republic is a component of the InternationalCenter for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs, based at the Mailman School of Public Health, which also includes the MTCT-Plus Initiative, the Multicountry Columbia Antiretroviral Program, and the University Technical Assistance Program.
