The Right to Play (RTP) Research Collaboration
Mailman School of Public Health

The Right to Play (RTP) Research Collaboration partners faculty at the Mailman School with RTP (formerly known as Olympic Aid), an athlete-driven, humanitarian nongovernmental organization that works in disadvantaged settings to promote child health and community capacity through sport and play. The Mailman School is assisting RTP with training activities to prepare internationally recognized athletes to effectively raise social awareness about HIV/AIDS, TB, and malaria, and to promote the value of sport and play for health and development. The school is also represented on RTP’s research advisory team that is charged with implementing a multisite evaluation of RTP programs in Africa and Asia.
