The purpose of the meeting was to bring together biologists and software developers working on construction of the World Wide MeB (Meiosis dataBase) to facilitate further programmatic development of the database. The specific aims of this workshop were to discuss approaches and develop a specific plan for integrating the WWMeB with two other current related efforts, the Male Reproductive Genetics (MRG) database and the Ovarian Kaleidoscope (OK) database. The GermOnline database is ongoing.
